Would you like to equip your staff and/or clients to better meet the emotional and behavioral needs of the kids you serve?
Nurturing Change is now offering TBRI® Training Classes to schools, churches, social service agencies, and other organizations that serve kids and families.
Our TBRI® classes will train your staff and clients in a trauma-informed intervention that will empower them to bring emotional healing and behavioral transformation to children and teens. Although these trainings were originally designed to address the unique needs of kids who have experienced adversity, these principles will help your team prevent and address challenging behaviors with any child, while building connection.
Please see below for the training classes we are presently offering. (In some cases, we can design a training specific to your organization's needs.) Classes are offered virtually (in most cases), and our 4 hour classes can be divided into two 2 hour sessions, if needed.
To inquire about pricing and to discuss your organization's specific needs, please complete our brief training inquiry form.
Note: These trainings are being offered to organizations with special permission from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development (KPICD) at Texas Christian University. TBRI® Caregiver trainings are not to be confused with the TBRI® Practitioner trainings, offered by the KPICD.

It explores parenting styles and teaches proactive strategies for shaping future behavior. It provides a deeper dive into the responsive strategies for addressing challenging behaviors, including the IDEAL Response© and Levels of Response™
Based upon our popular ebook, this training explores six TBRI® principles that can help prevent and end power struggles with kids.
This training explores what to do before meltdowns happen (to prepare our kids and ourselves), how brain science helps us to understand meltdowns, how to respond to them, and what to do after a meltdown occurs.
Nurture Groups teach the skills of secure attachment, and are a great way for caregivers to teach positive behaviors to their kids, while building connection. Nurture Groups are also ideal for preventing and addressing both behavioral issues, and sibling rivalry. This highly interactive training teaches the benefits of Nurture Groups and leads participants step-by-step through how to lead a Nurture Group of their own.
