Introducing Healing Support for Families

Are you puzzled by your child’s behaviors and wondering how to manage them? Does your child exhibit big emotions that block their success and disrupt the family?

Even when we love our children and do our best to protect them, despite our best efforts, our kids may experience some hard things. These adverse childhood experiences impact our child’s developing brains, emotions, and behaviors

If you feel overwhelmed by your child’s emotional and behavioral needs, Nurturing Change is here to help.

We utilize a trauma-informed intervention that was developed for parents, called Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)®. Whether you are a biological, adoptive, foster parent, or relative caregiver, our TBRI® parenting classes and support groups will empower you to understand and meet the unique behavioral and emotional needs of your child.

Beginning with our TBRI® Intro and Overview Class we will compassionately explore how adversity affects child brain development-specifically emotions, behaviors, and learning. We will also learn practical ways to heal our kids through the use of TBRI's® Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles to meet attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.

After attending our Intro and Overview Class, you'll be invited to dive deeper into TBRI® during our Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting Classes. You'll also be invited to join our virtual TBRI® Implementation support group for parents, where we apply TBRI® to specific parenting challenges within a supportive community.

Registration for our September 9th and October 7th TBRI® Intro and Overview classes is now open, but space is limited. This single-session class on either date will meet from 9:00am-4:00pm with a one hour lunch break and will take place at Lirios Pediatrics at  4201 S Congress Ave #202, Austin, TX 78745. Advanced registration is required and the price for this 6 hour class is $50 per participant, with discounts available as needed.

To reserve your spot, please register here. If you have any questions, please contact us at parents@nurturing-change.org.

Please join us as we walk this journey of hope and healing together. We look forward to seeing you there.

Partner with us as we bring healing to children and restoration to families, together.
